Don’t Cut Out Your Marketing

Thursday, April 2nd, 2009

It is 2009 and what is that you want to do with your business? The objective here is to clean out the weak from the strong. Your marketing business plan is the single most important factor to your success or failure. If you do it right you will prosper, get it wrong you head for the unemployment line with the others. Our goal is to get anyone that wants success to listen up.

It is quite simple, letting others know you are in business keeps you in business. Pinching pennies is ok but getting rid of your marketing budget all together spells BUSINESS DEATH. To survive doesn’t take millions; it does take plenty of hard work and creative planning to stay alive. If you haven’t noticed that Affordable Image has the creative name that says “affordable” and “image” hence we have always worked at giving you the advantage of looking professional for less. And in this economy we are still able to do this and let you grow your business the way you are supposed to.

I highly recommend that you take advantage of the complimentary service that Affordable Image provides and have your marketing plan reviewed by professionals who have your best interest at stake. You will benefit by this evaluation to determine what really can be done to effectively promote your product or service or you can decide that you can’t afford to be in business. I know this is a tough statement, but in this economy only the strong will survive. Will you be one of them?

The Real Stimulus

Tuesday, March 17th, 2009

When we look up stimulus in the dictionary we find “something that incites to action or exertion or quickens”. So I started to think about the Stimulus Package presented to the American people by our government and wondered is this really going to be a “quick fix”? I don’t think so, and with all the pork and earmarks padded into it, all I see is the Antonym of “discouragement, hindrance.” So what are we to do? We are Americans and we only know how to prosper, so what is to become of us?

When this great country was founded it wasn’t started by super heroes with mighty powers from a galaxy far away. They were men that believed in a future for people who wanted freedom, the freedom to choose how they pray, freedom from taxation and freedom to live. They were men that put one pant leg on at a time, just like you and I. What makes them different is they had strong beliefs. They fought for those beliefs and didn’t wait for someone to “bail” them out. Our forefathers chose a different path than the one that I think we took. We have made a mess out of our nation’s dreams.

As I listen to some of the news media or people’s opinions, I realize we are not a strong nation of fighters, we are whiners. We are so used to listening to the people in Washington we forgot the foundation of this country. We have to remember that these same men and woman in Washington are just people. They have flaws and they are human, not superhuman. The only thing they deserve from us is respect. But that my friend needs to be earned. Once you make a human better than another, we get the idol factor going and that is a dangerous path to walk. So instead of waiting for the people in Washington to bail us out, why don’t we take a walk back in time and stimulate our own economy, here is my proposal for The Real Stimulus:

There are 6.5 million people in the state of Arizona. Let’s say half of them have an income the other half are childrenor retired. My numbers might be off but for the sake of math let’s go with this.

3.25 million people can stimulate our economy back into a prosperous state in no time at all. Let’s do some math. Each one continues to pay each of their normal bills and do their normal routines – each one adds $1 extra a day to the economy so about $30 bucks a month. Take 3.25 million x30 we get $97,500,000 a month floating in our state system. Now we do this for 12 months and we have $1,170,000,000 now in our system that wasn’t there before. If each of us just does our share of helping the neighborhood stores we would get out of this in no time at all. So you think this is too good to be true? We need to remember that the Main Street business is what really keeps America going. Just because Washington chooses to help Wall Street doesn’t mean we must follow. I say let’s do what our forefathers did and forge ahead with realistic ideas and fight for the freedoms we have come to love.

So, to be a part of The Real Stimulus deal, go shop. If you are used to getting your nails done, do it. If you would like to buy that new CD of your favorite artist, do it. If your dog is looking shabby, go groom him. Maybe you have been giving your child his haircut, give him a break and go to the hair salon. You get it, stimulate your neighborhood! Let’s start today with just $1. We would hate to see that be a commercial some day, “For just one dollar you get help America get on her feet again.” We are supposed to be the strongest nation on the planet, so let’s act like it, pull up the boot straps and let’s show the world what we are made of. We are the Red, White and Blue, strong and true. We don’t need Washington, they need us. We need to help our neighbors and towns. Be proud, be strong, be an American. The Real Stimulus – is You.
